What is Nanashake?

Nanashake is located in a foodcourt near Yonge and Sheppard. It is at the base of the new Emerald City condo. Banana and their mascot is the theme of their cute store.

Founded by enterprenural owners Yasin and Tamara, they come up with this idea and recipe for frozen dessert after researching and trying out different healthy desserts. They created this wonderfully flavored fruit-based ice-cream that is plant-based and 100% vegan.

Since their opening last year, they have already established a loyal followings and have been featured in BlogTO and Toronto Star. Yasin said they have fans all the way from Oakville and Peterborough and have long line up outside the store in summer days.

Menu

There is a wide selection Nanashake with different flavors, including Rosey Pistachio, Minty Chocolate, Mango Madness, and their signature The Bananza. All shakes are $4.99 for single and $7.49 for double.

They also offer Popsicle called Nanapops with six different flavors, $3.50 each.

There are also Nanabowl ,Tubs, and Nanacake available. Everything is freshly made in store every day with only all-natural components. This is very amazing as they serve over 400 customers a day during the summer and everything was made in a space of approximately 500 squarefeet.

Frozen Dessert Selections

Bananza Cocktails

First we had the signature vegan milkshake. While we are usually not fan of milkshakes, we really liked the Nanashake as they do not taste too sweet and artificial. We can tell these are made from natural ingredients and they definitely taste refreshing!

Nana Waffles

This is new menu that was introduced in 2017, and we were glad to be the first group to taste it! The waffle tastes wonderfully soft and fluffy, and complimented perfectly with the soft ice cream. The waffle is freshly made vegan and gluten-free.

Nana Roll

We were very impressed by this dessert for its novelty and creativity. The Nana Roll is inspired by sushi roll which features ice cream covered with crispy bread crumbs. They are also serve with three dipping sauces: chocolate, espresso, caramel.

Nana Cake

We got a Nana Cake to go so we can enjoy at home! These are the specialty vegan ice cream cake. We got the special edition made by the owner, with peanut butter fillings and chocolate toppings!

We really love the cute monkey mascot!
