Founded in 2006, they have expanded in over 100 cities globally including China, South Korea, Thailand, United Kingdom. They have recently landed in Canada, with the first location in Pacific Mall, and the second one in North York opened just in January 2017.

The store is very colorful and covered with their cute lemon mascots. They also have merchandises featuring their mascots, such as phone holder, mirror, and hooks.

Different than traditional bubble tea places, Happy Lemon emphasis on specialty and fruity drinks, with the salted cheese series and lemon series than signature drinks.
We tried the hot Green Tea With Salted Cheese ($5.20) and Bubble Milk Tea with Puff Cream ($5.99 for large).
We loved the salted cheese series as it is very different than other drinks we had! The green tea mixed well with the salted cheese and taste wonderfully! The puff cream milk tea made the tea much more foamy and flavorful and is recommended too!
Lemon Mojito Green Tea ($5.20 for medium) is also a favorite. The fresh mojito taste are highlighted by the lemon.
Happy lemon also have coffee drinks. Matcha latte tasted wonderful and will definitely be a hit in the summer!
Overall we enjoyed Happy Lemon very much and will definitely come back whenever we want to have a fresh drink. They will open a third location in Toronto this year in downtown, near College and Spadina.
