About N Seoul Tower
Address: 105 Namsangongwon-gil, Yongsan 2(i)ga-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Website: http://www.nseoultower.co.kr/eng/
N Seoul Tower is definitely a must go for all visitors to Seoul and it is ranked on Tripadvisor as one of the top things to do in Seoul! N Seoul Tower, also known as Namsan Tower, is one of the main landmark of Seoul. Built in 1969, it was used as a communication tower and it was not until 1980 that it was opened as a public observation tower. At 236m, it is the highest point in Seoul and offers full panorama view of the beautiful city and Hangang River.
How to get to N Seoul Tower
Located in the Namsan Park in the middle of Seoul, N Seoul Tower is easily reachable from Myongdong through cable car or bus. We chose the bus this time since it is less crowded and also a cool way to tour across different parts of Seoul!
We rode the Namsan Shuttle Bus No 5, which cost 1,100 won for adult with a transportation card. This is much cheaper than the expensive and crowded cable car, which cost 8,500won for round trip! The bus ride took around 30 mins and it was a nice and leisure way to see the sights of Seoul and the scenic Namsan Park.

N Seoul Tower Love Locks
N Seoul Tower is a romantic pilgrimage for those couples who wish to declare their eternal love. Similar to Paris’ Pont des Arts, there is a wall of love locks are located in the square right outside N Seoul Tower. This location has been heavily featured in a lot of Korean dramas, including 2016 popular hit The Legend of Blue Sea and classic My Love from the Star, featuring Kim Soo-hyun and Jun Ji-hyun.
There are countless locks on the fence surrounding N Seoul Tower and we were amazed by the creativeness in the locks. Lovers decorate their locks with inscription by pen or engraved, some have pictures, stickers! It was an amazing sight to see so many couples visiting together and put on new locks to symbolize their everlasting love to each other.

A unique feature on the observation deck is that there are direction and distance to major cities around the world. We found we are 10,728km away from Toronto and it is so far away!
